I always enjoy the gang: Steve is too hard on himself in being self critical on the moderating. That said it might be interesting to see others take turns (see how they like it). The world changes, especially due to the driver of technological advance, but I think it will be many years before contemporary debate between a bunch of insightful, articulate, wise folk becomes irrelevant. Stick at it.

I ran a monthly meetup in Utah called Utah CTO Breakfast for 20 years. (Now that I’m no longer in Utah, someone else has taken over). The only two rules are 1/ no side conversations and 2/ no politics. It fell to me to enforce these. So I get the worry over being a bully, but as the producer/director you also have to guide the show to fulfill your vision for it. I agree with David, when moderation is needed, please moderate away. Listeners appreciate it.
