It’s been almost a month since we had this second of two mini-Gang sessions, a conversation with GG’s Brent Leary and special guest Paul Greenberg. We enjoyed last week’s debate, but now it appears there is no bounce, particularly not in the swing states that actually decide the election. We’re still waiting for Substack to release their new Live functionality. I’ve finished my West Wing replay, and must now rely on the 3 or 4 major news channels while we wait for a political environment to reflect some useful outcome.
The news in technology is similarly deluded. AI platforms abound, but product appears focused on enterprise automation. Apple has announced enhanced AI tool to extend Siri, Google seems timid in response to the threat of AI on its search business, and then there’s former Google CEO Eric Schmidt’s pro-return to office mandate rationale. Stand by for GG Live as soon as it is released, or some details on how it works with Substack’s subscription model.
